Termite Treatments & Bonds
Subterranean Termite Treatment
Named after their preference to build their nests underground, subterranean termites often enter the home from areas where wood comes in contact with the ground, by squeezing through cracks as small as a business card or by using the mud tubes they construct to travel from their below ground colonies to infest wood in your home.
There are two types of treatments available.
1. Monitoring and Bait Stations
How Do Termite Bait Stations Work?
When installed and monitored properly, bait stations can control subterranean termite colonies.
Subterranean termites can build large nests and can live up to 18 inches below ground. They may even live under your house. Since colonies can build nests far below your home’s foundation, it can be extremely difficult to pinpoint the exact location of all the sprawling communities in a nest to provide direct treatment. Rather than providing a perimeter soil treatment around your home’s foundation to cover areas where termites are active (and some areas where they are not), bait stations provide a targeted treatment.
2. Termiticide Liquid Treatment
What Are Termiticides?
With the development of integrated pest management practices, the application of termite control chemicals (baits or termite pesticides called termiticides) is now more targeted, more effective and at a lower volume.
Together, academic experts, researchers and the pest management industry have made strides in understanding the biology and behavior of termites and used this knowledge to develop the control methods and products used today. Through integrated pest management, professionals learn to use a variety of targeted control methods, which helps minimize the amount of chemicals required for effective prevention and treatment.
We use only the best termiticide treatment (Termidor), where other companies may use products such as Taurus with less efficacy and life.
And we do it for less!

Residential Pest Control
By performing thorough inspections, identifying entry points, and applying targeted treatments (selecting the best product for your home and needs) to prevent future infestations.

Commercial Pest Control
Commercial pest control companies use a variety of techniques to protect buildings from pests, including: chemical treatments, biological controls, physical barriers, and sticky traps.
Equipment
Commercial pest control companies often use larger machines and equipment to quickly solve problems.
Preventative measures
Commercial pest control companies have more experience with long-term preventative measures, such as preventative traps.
Commercial pest control companies take into account uncontrollable factors, such as a building’s location or other residents.
Pest infestations can cause a number of problems for businesses, including: Structural damage, Harm to products and equipment, Transmission of diseases and pathogens, and Damage to a business’s reputation. To prevent pest infestations, we can inspect your commercial property for potential entry points and seal any cracks or gaps. We can also install door sweeps or screens as needed.
CL100 - Termite Letters
A “CL100 termite letter” refers to a document in South Carolina, also called an “Official South Carolina Wood Infestation Report,” which is a thorough visual inspection by a licensed pest control professional to check for evidence of termites or other wood-destroying insects within a property, typically required when buying or selling a home, and is essentially a detailed termite inspection report that documents any visible damage or infestation found during the inspection; “CL100” signifying the specific form used in the state to report these findings.
Moisture Control
Moisture control around a house involves preventing water intrustion by addressing potential entry points, ensuring proper ventilation, sealing cracks or gaps in the foundation, installing power vents or dehumidifiers, mainting gutters and downspouts, and ensuring proper grading around the home.
Key aspects of moisture control around a house:
Exterior checks:
- Inspect foundation: Look for cracks, gaps, and areas where water might be seeping in, and seal them with appropriate materials.
- Gutters and downspouts: Clean and ensure they are properly directed away from the foundation to prevent water buildup.
- Grading: Make sure the ground slopes away from the house to direct water away.
- Waterproof membranes: Consider applying a waterproof membrane on exterior walls below grade to prevent water penetration.
-
Interior measures:
- Ventilation: Run exhaust fans in bathrooms and kitchens after use to remove moisture. Vent clothes dryers outdoors. Consider whole-home ventilation systems.
- Dehumidifiers: Use dehumidifiers in damp areas or throughout the house to control humidity levels, especially during humid seasons.
